... Will Jesus judge us according to our works?
... If I call myself a Christian, but my life does not match the standards of the Beatitudes, am I ready?
... Since Im already saved, do I really need to worry about a time of judgment?
... Isnt working for a reward a form of legalistic bargaining with God?

This book will revive your zeal for the things of God. It will strengthen your stand against sin and worldliness. It will help you detect your weaknesses and renew your spiritual priorities.

Books theological position:

We are saved by faith in the Lord Jesus Christ alone, apart from works, because of His atoning work: His death, burial, and resurrection for our sins. Once saved, we cannot lose our place as Gods children in the coming everlasting kingdom. Why then do we have to get ready? Because we must all come before the judgment seat of Jesus Christ. There, Hell determine our rewards, as we see in the illustrations Jesus gives of a master rewarding or refraining from rewarding, faithful and unfaithful servants. As the servants were in character as the master returned, so in that character they were judged, whether faithful or unfaithful (See Matt. 25:14-30). The rewards are in addition to salvation, not a condition of it. The rewards are an encouragement to persevere in sanctification and Christ-likeness.
